Dessintey Manifesto

Moving Minds,
Empowering Bodies

At Dessintey, we believe that rehabilitation goes far beyond the mere execution of movement. It begins in the mind, where everything is prepared, planned, learned and extends to the person as a whole.

Our mission is to redefine the boundaries of rehabilitation and empower people in their care by adopting a holistic and innovative approach that combines neuroscience, technology and humanity.

Seeing the bigger picture

The world of rehabilitation has long focused on movement as end goal. Yet behind every gesture lies a complex orchestration of cognitive, perceptual and emotional processes. Neglecting these multiple dimensions means missing the opportunity for truly transformative rehabilitation.

At Dessintey, we are moving the lines by placing the mind at the heart of the process, empowering the body and enabling patients to achieve sustainable autonomy.

Pioneer and unique

patient IVS3

While therapy focuses on the mechanics of movement through robotics and other solutions, Dessintey adopts an integrative vision centered on brain process.
We are convinced that effective rehabilitation relies on a deep understanding of the dialogue between body and brain.

The person as a whole

By integrating every cognitive steps that precede and continue during and after movement, we offer a comprehensive approach that empowers patients to transform challenges into opportunities while respecting their individuality.
Dessintey is pioneer in creating solutions that consider the person as a whole, beyond the affected limb, empowering people in their care.
We work on the invisible steps that come before and during each gesture, developing solutions centered on the complex mechanisms of movement, integrating cognition, perception, and learning.

Commitment as a key success factor

We also strive to ensure that each patient becomes an active participant in his or her rehabilitation and recovers as much as possible to improve his or her quality of life, through sustainable and progressive motor learning.
However, in addition to therapeutic support, patients’ commitment to their own rehabilitation is a key success factor in improving quality of life once they return home. The more active patients are in their rehabilitation, the greater their potential for recovery.
By including families and caregivers in the care pathway, a real moral contract is established: patients are not passive in their rehabilitation and become key players. This active involvement strengthens their autonomy, increases their chances of recovery, and effectively prepares them for their return home.

Inclusive design

Our solutions are designed in close collaboration with therapists and medical experts. But beyond technology itself, we hold a strong conviction: design is essential.

We create ultra-intuitive devices, ensuring immediate adoption and a natural user experience, both for therapists and patients. Innovative technology can only be effective if it is easily embraced and seamlessly integrated into daily therapeutic routines.

In addition, our technologies are designed to adapt to a wide range of neurological and orthopedic conditions, from stroke recovery to traumatic brain injuries, neurodegenerative diseases, motor impairments of various origins and even neuropathic and/or chronic pain (CRPS, phantom limb pain, etc.). By focusing on cognitive and perceptual processes in addition to movement, we offer flexible and scalable solutions that can be tailored to each patient’s needs and progress.

This comprehensive and gradual approach aims at improving rehabilitation efficiency and enable patients to achieve sustainable autonomy.
